Yes, we do! We also have a small range of local wines, soft drinks, cider and spirits.
Our drinks for functions are provided at bar prices or as part of a beverage package. Both can include our house wine, cider and soft drinks and a selection of our twelve beers on tap. Please note we do not offer spirits as part of a beverage package.
The minimum spend can be made up of food from the Future Mountain menu (small events only), beverage and deposit combined. Depending on your numbers, it's usually not a problem reaching the required spend. For example, 50 people spending $40 each on drinks would reach a minimum spend of $2000 (approximately 3-4 drinks each). If your minimum spend is not reached during the night the difference will be charged to your tab.
The venue music is controlled centrally through our Sonos system and because of this, we are unfortunately unable to allow you to have your own tunes unless you’re open to booking out the entire venue. If you are booking out the entire venue then yes, you may play your own music and DJ’s are allowed.
Future Mountain is an open- plan venue and because of this we cannot allow your function to have amplified sound, such as trivia or amplified speeches that will travel around the venue. You are welcome to make a speech (without microphones) and we can turn down our music in specified areas, however, we cannot guarantee that the noise from our other patrons will not interfere with the speeches and announcements that are part of your function.
You are more than welcome to decorate the area within the set-up time frame. We support the Darebin Council’s single-use plastic-free events policy and request that decorations do not comprise of or are very limited amounts of single-use plastic (e.g 2 large balloons). We also recommend using sustainable or compostable plates (such as bamboo). All decorations must be approved by Future Mountain before the agreed set up time period and must not utilise blue tac, tape or other adhesives unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Yes! You will also need to bring candles, serving ware and napkins.
Children are more than welcome at Future Mountain as long as they are under the direct supervision of their immediate parents or lawful guardians. For OHS reasons they are not allowed to run around the venue.
Booked areas and tables will be vacated 1.5 hours before your event commences. For any afternoon events starting at 1pm or earlier, the earliest access time is 11.30am.
We are licensed until 11pm (9pm Sundays) and ask that all caterers and patrons have vacated the venue by 11.30pm at the absolute latest (9.30pm Sundays)
Your function is confirmed once the deposit is received and the terms and conditions have been signed.
